Fettucini carbonara is often served as a heavy meal menu. The seasoning is made from onions, cheese and milk, usually sauted in oil until cooked. Only then are the spices mixed with fettuccine which has been boiled until al dente.
For some people, the soft and creamy texture of fettuccine carbonara really makes their appetite increase. However, for people who don't like creamy dishes, this menu will actually make them taste bad. Apart from that, the use of oil and milk makes this menu tend to be high in calories.
Even though you know, don't you? Actually, there are other ways you can do it if you want to make a healthier version of fettuccine carbonara. Well, this was done by a policewoman named Donya. Through his Donya Channel YouTube account, he admitted that he had a healthier fettuccine carbonara recipe because it didn't use oil or milk .
Reported by BrilioFood on Monday (12/2), Donya replaced oil with butter. If you want lower calories, you can use nonfat butter. Meanwhile, as a substitute for milk, Donya uses fibercreme which is free of fat and bad cholesterol.
"This is really easy to cook and anyone who wants to cook at home will not fail," said Donya.
How to cook it is quite easy. Heat a frying pan and add enough butter. When it's melted, add the salmon pieces. You can replace this salmon with other proteins, such as chicken or beef.

Once the salmon starts to cook, add the sliced garlic and onion. Saute until the onions are fragrant. If it has wilted, pour in the fibercreme that has been dissolved in water (if using powder).

Next, add the grated cheese. Cook until the cheese is melted and all the ingredients thicken slightly. Only then add black pepper, white pepper and oregano. Stir briefly and add the boiled fettuccine. Stir again until all ingredients are mixed evenly.

When it is cooked and the spices are absorbed, turn off the heat on the stove. Then serve this fettuccini carbonara on a serving plate. That way, you can eat this fettuccini carbonara straight away.
