But don't just use extra salt, it turns out there are other tricks you can do when boiling eggs. The method was demonstrated by a woman, a YouTube user with the account name Umm Balqis Haura.

"Just use this method, peeling eggs will be easier," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from YouTube Umm Balqis Haura on Monday (12/2).

First, take the eggs one by one to be boiled. Hold the egg in one hand and tap the top with the tip of a spoon.

"Tap until you hear a tapping sound," said the owner of the video.

The "tap" sound indicates that the white membrane inside the egg has separated from the shell. If so, slowly add the eggs into the boiling water.

The length of boiling time can be adjusted according to taste. If you want perfectly cooked boiled eggs, it usually takes 10-12 minutes.

After boiling, the eggs can be removed immediately. Instead of peeling them straight away, boiled eggs can be placed first in a container filled with ice water.
