Brilio.net - Ceker is known as the delicious tasting part of the chicken. It's not surprising that many people process claw feet into various dishes, such as claw soup, crispy claws, firecracker claws, and many others. The soft texture and savory taste really makes your appetite increase.

However, even though it has a delicious taste, quite a few people are still reluctant to process the claws themselves because after boiling the texture is still not soft enough and it is quite complicated to separate the bones. Apart from that, the process of boiling the claws to make them soft is also quite time consuming. The claws must be boiled for around 30-45 minutes so that the texture is softer.

First of all, prepare 1 kilogram of chicken feet. Clean the nails and skin, then wash until clean. Next, boil enough water in a pan. When it has boiled, put the claws into the boiling water. Then add 1 tsp salt.

"Apart from providing taste, salt helps remove mucus that sticks to the surface of the claw," he added.

The YouTube user boiled the chicken feet for 5 minutes in a covered pot. After boiling for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and stir the claws well, then leave for 30 minutes in a closed pan.

Even though the fire is off, the process of cooking the chicken feet continues in the pan. This is because hot steam does not come out. After letting it sit for 30 minutes, turn on medium heat, then boil the claws for 7 minutes.

How to store chicken feet in the refrigerator to keep them fresh.

1. Clean the claws.

Make sure the chicken feet have been cleaned well before storing them in the refrigerator. Remove the part of the nail that is still attached and clean it with clean water.

4. Place it at the bottom of the refrigerator.

Place the container with chicken feet in the bottom of the refrigerator, separate from other foods to prevent cross-contamination.

5. Proper temperature and humidity.

Make sure the refrigerator temperature is set at 4C or below to keep the chicken feet fresh. Refrigerator humidity should also be kept from being too high.

6. Use within a certain time.

Chicken feet should be used within a relatively short time, ideally within 1-2 days after being stored in the refrigerator.

7. Check condition before use.

Before use, check the condition of the chicken feet. If there are signs of damage or an unpleasant odor, it is best not to use it.
