So, this special technique for boiling claws is done using the 5-30-5 method. More specifically, the claws are boiled for 5 minutes. Then let it sit or soak in hot water for 30 minutes. Only then boiled again a second time for 5 minutes. So, total boiling only takes 10 minutes.

To make the process clearer, wash the claws clean first. Make sure the nails are cut too, okay? After washing, drain the claws and set aside for a while. Meanwhile, prepare water in a pan and boil until the water is completely boiling.

So, after the boiled water boils, put the claws into the pan. Only then add the ginger pieces that have been washed clean. At this stage, cook or boil the claws for 5 minutes in a closed pan so that the hot steam is trapped and makes the claws soft quickly.

After boiling for 5 minutes, turn off the stove heat. Then let stand or soak the claws in hot water for 30 minutes. At this stage, make sure the pan is still closed. That way, the trapped steam and hot water will continue the softening process.

When it's been 30 minutes, turn the stove back on. After that, boil the claws for 5 minutes starting after the water boils. Then turn off the stove and let the water temperature decrease. So, that way, the claws can be removed and drained and then cooked with various spices.
