However, in general, cholesterol content in broiler chickens or cut chickens tends to be higher than in kampung chickens, especially in the innards and skin.

Moreover, the cholesterol in chicken skin comes from saturated fat, which means that the cholesterol is a type of bad cholesterol (LDL).

To make it safer to consume, it is better to use the right cooking technique to lower cholesterol levels. Luckily, a YouTube user named Mutiara Wangi once shared a trick for processing broiler chicken by boiling it using one ingredient. This ingredient can help lower bad fat and cholesterol levels in broiler chicken, you know.

In the video, Mutiara boils chicken meat with a mixture of vinegar water. So first, boil the water until it really boils. If so, put in the broiler chicken that will be processed.

Instead of using cut meat, Mutiara uses whole chicken. However, you can also boil it in a cut state so that all parts are submerged. This can be adjusted to the type of dish later.

After the chicken is in the pot, add the vinegar water. For two chickens, she used half a small bottle of vinegar. Boil for about 5-10 minutes.

"The key is in this vinegar water, it makes the chicken rough like free-range chicken," explained YouTube Mutiara Wangi.

Because not all parts of the chicken were submerged, Mutiara poured the surface of the chicken with boiled water. She used a spatula or ladle to pour the parts of the chicken that were not submerged. For maximum results, turn the chicken over while it is boiled.

Because it is not intended to cook the chicken, so you can immediately lift it once the skin or surface of the chicken feels dry. In addition to being dry, the chicken skin also looks yellow or half-cooked. According to Mutiara, this indicates that the fat and bad cholesterol in the chicken are starting to decrease.
