Official poster and trailer released, Bolehkah Sekali Saja Kumenangis becomes the long-awaited film

Brilio.net - The trailer and poster of the film "Bolehkah Sekali Saja Kumenangis" or "BSSK" became the spotlight after being released by the official Instagram account @sinemaku_pictures on Monday (2/8). The poster shows Prilly Latuconsina and Dikta Wicaksono sitting together with expressions that imply many meanings. Meanwhile, behind them, seven people from different backgrounds are in a circle.

In the official poster of BSSK, besides Prilly and Dikta, the ensemble is also shown. They are Ummi Quary, Kristo Immanuel, Widi Mulia, Surya Saputra, Dominique Sanda, Antonio Blanco Jr., and Gracia JKT48. The film BSSK is a film presented by Sinemaku Pictures in collaboration with Legacy Pictures after the success of the dramas Kukira Kau Rumah and Saat Gantung di Sini which won the box office.

Meanwhile, the official trailer released on Wednesday (4/8) shows the story experienced by Tari (Prilly Latuconsina) with her mother (Dominique Sanda), who faces an uncomfortable situation due to the abusive treatment of her father (Surya Saputra).

From the series of unpleasant events, Tari came to the support group and met her new friends, who also experienced emotional wounds. At that moment, Tari also met Baskara (Dikta) who became her friend facing various life traumas.

In addition to releasing the official poster and trailer, BSSK also announced the release date of the film in theaters on October 17, 2024. The executive producers of the film BSSK consist of Yahni Damayanti, Prilly Latuconsina, Lisbeth Simarmata, Iman Usman, Futih Aljihadi, Indra Yudhistira and Mieska Alia Farhana. Meanwhile, Umay Shahab and Imam Salimi sit in the producer chairs for the film BSSK.

BSSK tells the story of Tari and her family. After her brother left home, Tari, a woman who was forced not to cry since she was little, tried to save her mother from her abusive father. Since she was little, Tari never got the warmth of a family.

Her father was abusive, while her mother pressured her to always be strong, patient, obedient, and not cry when disappointed. As a result, Tari grew up to be an insecure person, used to pretending to be okay, always saying 'yes' to avoid conflict, and unable to cry. Meanwhile, there is an unresolved childhood trauma.

Tari, who has had a lot of trauma since she was little, is no longer able to bear the burden. She is accompanied by Baskara, a temperamental man who also joins Tari's support group. Can Tari overcome the trauma she has and no longer keep her tears to herself?

"Through the official poster and trailer of "BSSK" we want to show the characters of the film. They are the ones who will carry the story in this film, who are brought together in a support group. Meanwhile, director Reka Wijaya said that through the film "BSSK" he wanted to show Tari's inner journey, who faces and sees domestic violence, as well as her emotional management that continues to grow throughout the film. The ensemble that is present through the support group is also a fresh concept in the drama genre in Indonesian films.

"Hopefully, through the official poster and trailer that we released, it can provide a clearer clue for the audience who have been waiting for this film. Through this film, I want to show how Tari's journey to be able to face trauma, together with people who are also equally wounded," said "BSSK" director Reka Wijaya.

Prilly Latuconsina, who plays Tari in the film "BSSK" said that there were many changes she went through for the character in this film. In addition to delving into the feelings and conflicts experienced by Tari, Prilly also bravely changed her physical appearance.

"From wearing braces to having acne on my face. This is actually a method I do to give a difference from the characters I've played before," said Prilly Latuconsina.
