Brilio.net/en - It's no secret that competing in a TV talent show is a quick way to break into a successful entertainment career. Your talent can be anything, ranging from singing and cooking to practicing magic - you will still get a shot at an audition.
But the universe sometimes has other plans, and while talent shows have unearthed some incredible people who may otherwise have never found fame, there has been a fair amount of tragedy along with it.

With an eye to the recent death of beloved Indonesian Idol winner Mike Mohede, we list seven talent show stars who left us too soon. May they rest in peace.
1. Rezha “Decha” Purnamasari (Stardut)

Born Rezha Purnamasari, the 2007 winner of Stardut passed away on January 15, 2014, at the age of 22. The starlet died from complications after a struggle with meningitis, just as her dangdut career was peaking.
2. Seni Maryani (Kondangin)
The 2008 season of Kontes Dangdut Indosiar (Kondangin) saw Seni Maryani make the top five. Although she failed to win, Seni saw continued success as a dangdut singer. In 2010, she got married and decided to leave the stage. Sadly, while seven months pregnant, Seni died from jaundice.
3. Luri Dini Ayu Safitri (AFI)
Akademi Fantasi Indosiar was one of the first and most successful talent shows in Indonesia during its time. Luri, a girl from Surabaya, finished in the top four in 2005. She also met her soulmate there, fellow AFI contestant Arjuna. The pair eventually married. But unfortunately, one week after giving birth to her son Shifardy Satriyo Prananda in 2009, Luri suffered from post-pregnancy complications and passed away.
