Brilio.net/en - An enigmatic sealed basement was discovered beneath an old London orphanage in 2006, and what is inside will make even the most fearless spectator stop in their tracks.
Hundreds of large crates were buried in the basement, containing thousands of creepy artifacts, otherworldly specimens, and mysterious diaries. Some items are just strange while some others are rather disturbing.
Those items are now dubbed the Merrylin Cryptid Collection. They name it after a man to whom they belonged, a so-called Crypto-naturalist, Fringe Zoologist and Xenoarcheologist Thomas Theodore Merrylin.
Well, you might have guessed what its all about. But if you dont, no worries, because we, honestly, havent figured it out ourselves.
Anyway, Mr. Thomas Theodore Merrylin, who was born in Hellingshire, England in 1782 to a rich aristocrat and biologist, has decided to dedicate his life to the collection and study of these weird and wonderful specimens. Are they real or fake? We have no idea. The only thing we do know for sure is that theyre pretty odd. And kind of cool, actually.
Maybe youll have your own thoughts after seeing Mr. Merrylins collection. But be warned, some of them are pretty creepy! Here they are, as featured on Bored Panda:
