Reported by brilio.net from the Instagram account @thekristianhansen, Thursday (27/6), this man named Kristian Hansen succeeded in helping local residents repair a damaged bridge. Repairing the bridge used tens of millions of rupiah in capital from fundraising which was collected in just 24 hours.

Initially, Hansen, who likes to go on adventures by riding his motorbike to many places, found a bridge that had long been damaged in Bajo Samplea Village, Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi. This man who is also a YouTuber immediately took action.

"When I came to this village, everyone said 'be careful'," he said.

In fact, according to Hansen, the bridge has several times caused accidents for children and the elderly. It was revealed that this simple wooden bridge had been standing for 10 years.

"Their bridge is more than 10 years old. Sometimes, children and elderly people fall and get injured," he explained.

Not remaining silent, Hansen immediately took the initiative. Through the real action of collecting donations on philanthropy sites, local residents received assistance worth IDR 75 million in just 24 hours.

With the money collected, Hansen invited residents to work together to repair the bridge so that it is suitable and safe again.

"And the local residents agreed to work together. Then we bought as much wood as possible. And from the power of mutual cooperation, we rebuilt their bridge," he said.

It didn't stop there, Hansen gave the remaining bridge repair funds to residents whose houses were damaged. The damaged walls and roofs of residents' houses were also repaired to make them suitable for habitation.

Now local residents have succeeded in having bridges and houses that are livable . In the short video, Hansen expressed his thanks to the donors who were willing to lend a helping hand.
