Brilio.net/en - People in Britain got surprised by the presence of mysterious foul-smelling plants hatched from a mysterious egg. As it was seen a bizarre thing, some internet users even speculated that it was an alien egg.

As reported from mirror (23/12), this odd jelly like egg was discovered in the south of England by Dan Hoare, a conservationist who posted the photo of it on his twitter account.

Soon, a man gave a comment: Alien?!

As the matter of fact, the egg is not an alien egg like whatve assumed by some people. It is a kind of rare plant named devils finger or octopus stinkhorn. In Britain, it is well known as woodland fungus.

This weird plant has a sticky brown substance used to intrigue flies and insects which come into it. Then, the plant spreads its spores to the other locations.

Key Royal Botanic Gardens revealed that the plant was originally from Australia and New Zealand. Nonetheless, it has been introduced in another place over the years.

This devils finger was firstly found in Britain at Penzance in Cornwall and later was discovered in parts of Sussex.
