Brilio.net - Gorontalo residents have recently been shocked by the circulation of a pornographic video involving a teacher and a student who is still in grade 12. The video went viral on social media after being secretly recorded by another student.
Both parties involved are known to be from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1, Gorontalo Regency. Following the viral video, the student's family reported the incident to the Gorontalo Regency Police for follow-up by the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA).
In the video, a female student in a scout uniform is seen entering a room and carefully placing a camera in the corner of the room. After turning on the camera, the female student exits the room and then the teacher and students enter the room.
According to information circulating among netizens, this recording was made by the student's friend. The relationship between the teacher and the student was also reported by the wife of the teacher, but the report was not acknowledged by both parties in 2023.

Even though this action clearly violates the rules in force in the country. Referring to the ITE Law, the provisions for spreading indecent or pornographic content are contained in Article 27 and the sanctions are stated in Article 45.
Distributors of pornographic or immoral videos can be charged with Article 27 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. The article reads:
"Any person who intentionally and without the right broadcasts, displays, distributes, transmits and/or makes accessible Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents that contain content that violates morality for public knowledge."
If you violate these rules, you will be subject to a maximum prison sentence of 6 years and/or a maximum fine of IDR 1 billion, as stated in Article 45 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law:
"Any person who intentionally and without authority distributes and/or transmits and/or makes accessible Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents which contain content that violates morality.
as referred to in Article 27 paragraph (1) shall be punished with a maximum imprisonment of 6 (six) years and/or a maximum fine of IDR 1,000,000,000.00 (one billion rupiah)."
