Brilio.net - YouTuber Medy Renaldy just got a Megatron toy robot, from a toy manufacturer called Robosen. This creator, who loves collecting toys, was originally going to review the latest robot release from Robosen. Unfortunately, this had to be delayed because Medy had to deal with Customs.
This was revealed by the YouTuber via his X (Twitter) account, which was then uploaded back to Instagram. Medy uploaded a number of screenshots showing products sent from abroad being held up at customs .
As a result of this incident, Medy Renaldy, who was supposed to be the first person from Indonesia to review the newest Robosen robot, was delayed for several days.

"I should be able to represent Indonesian creators for the unboxing of Transformers products which have just been released worldwide, but my package was stuck at Customs," wrote Medy in the caption of her upload, quoted by brilio.net from Instagram @medyrenaldy, Saturday (27/4).
The product sent from Hong Kong, China, was a Transformers Megatron Auto-Converting Robot Flagship robot toy. This toy has the sophistication that it can change by itself.
According to information obtained from the Instagram account, this package should have been in Medy Renaldy's hands on April 25 2024. However, when the owner checked, the robot toy was still stuck at Customs.

Not just disappointed because the package never arrived. Medy was confused by the price listed on the Customs documents. It is stated that the purchase of the Megatron robot was 1,699 USD or around Rp. 27 million. For your information, Medy did not buy the robot, but rather sent it by Robosen for free.
On the next slide, customs also asked Medy Renaldy to pay according to the invoice in the document, namely 1,699 or around Rp. 27 million. They refer to PMK number 96 of 2023 concerning Customs Provisions for the Import and Export of Shipped Goods.
Medy also responded by saying that the reference taken by the customs officer was wrong, because in fact the price of his Megatron robot was only around 899 USD or around Rp. 14 million.

"I was asked to include a link to the product and the price. I was also confused, the website doesn't have it because it hasn't been released yet. But how come the website references the Grimlock product, which costs USD 1699?" Medy continued.
After making the payment, Medy was finally able to get the goods on April 27 2024. This was known from his upload in a video showing the condition of his goods after passing customs inspection.
It's quite unfortunate, Medy had to find that the Megatron packaging was no longer neat. Even the charger box is dented and torn. Not only that, the lock on the side of the big box was also damaged.

This unfortunate moment uploaded by Medy on her personal Instagram immediately attracted the attention of netizens, and many left their responses in the comments column. Not a few are concerned about what happened to Medy and are surprised by the recent customs duties.
