The young lad is a nominee for two categories in the world’s most prestigious music award

Joey Alexander, is a young pianist who is a nominee at the worlds most prestigious music award for the categories of Best Jazz Instrumental Album and Best Improvised Jazz Solo.

Thanks to his two phenomenal works, Joeys debut album under the label Motema Music, entitled My Favorite Things is nominated for the Best Jazz Instrumental Album and his single, Giant Step is running for the Best Improvised Jazz Solo as reported by brilio.net/en from grammy.com/nominees on Tuesday (8/12). The 2016 Grammy Awards itself will be held in Los Angeles on February 15, 2016.

Born in Bali, June 25, 2003, Joeys musical talent is absolutely astonishing. This young musician shows the world his quality through his jazz musicality where he also manages to impress the other veterans in the jazz world.

At his young age, Joey has already been invited to perform at several prestigious events in the United States, such as the Newport Jazz and Rochester Jazz.
