Its used to make us believe that certain objects are smaller or larger than they really are. Its the manipulation of the human visual perception, and more commonly known as an optical illusions. It is used primarily in photography, filmmaking and architecture.
Taking a forced perspective shot is quite easy. It doesnt require any special skills. All you need to have is creativity, a camera, the perfect setting and timing, correct poses and the most important component, imagination.
