Jessica Iskandar started a new business by building an exclusive boarding house in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta. The ex-wife of Richard Kyle renovated an old shophouse to be used as a residence with 21 rooms for students and employees.
Jedar, Jessica's nickname, presents a premium boarding house concept with adequate facilities in each room. Where each room unit is equipped with AC, bed linen, work desk, chair, cupboard, and windows with curtains that make the occupants comfortable.
Jessica's attention to the comfort of residents is also evident from the completeness of the public facilities provided. Each floor is equipped with a shared kitchen that has a stove and refrigerator, token electricity per room, free wifi, and cleaning services.
The mother of two started her boarding house business a few years ago. Previously, the boarding house was an old shophouse that was transformed into temporary housing for migrants.
