Bali boasts many beautiful beaches and exquisite temples to visit and one of them is Lempuyang Luhur Temple, located on the summit of Mount Lempuyang one of the highest peaks in the east end of the island.
While it isn't as famous as Besakih or Tanah Lot, Lempuyang Luhur has its own charm that you have to see yourselves.
According to local residents, this temple is a place of worship of Sang Hyang Iswara, the ruler of the east cardinal direction. In Hindu beliefs, he rides an elephant and has a weapon called Bajra.
