Nostalgia for Indonesian films from the 70s is being stirred up by the sad news of two child artists of the time. Puput Novel and Dina Mariana passed away in 2024 with a fairly close time difference.
The first shocking news came from Puput Novel who passed away on September 8, 2024 after battling cancer since 2021. Grief again enveloped the Indonesian entertainment industry when Dina Mariana, a child singer from the 70s, passed away on Sunday (03/11).
After the passing of the two child artists, questions arose about the news of their peers. Several other child artists from the 70s who are still around, some are still involved in the entertainment industry. However, some of them apparently chose a different path after leaving the entertainment world, some even became preachers.
