Tengku Firmansyah's life journey underwent a drastic change after deciding to move to Canada with his family in April 2024. This senior actor was willing to leave his career in the Indonesian entertainment world to accompany his child to school in the Maple Country.
Now, after six months living in Canada, Tengku Firmansyah is starting a new chapter as a welder at Edmonton Exchanger. The manufacturing and maintenance company where he works is a specialist in ship components and machinery services that has been established since 1975.
In order to support his career in a new place, Cindy Fatikasari's husband is willing to return to college at the age of 47. His determination to continue his education emerged after learning that an educational degree would affect his salary increase as a welder.
Tengku Firmansyah had to struggle hard to prepare for the entrance exam which included English, science, and math tests. Despite having to divide his time between studying and working, the father of three managed to pass a series of tests well.
Preparation for the college entrance exam made Tengku Firmansyah have to study extra hard in between his work time. This condition made him feel very stressed but still enthusiastic about going through it. The strong determination to improve his quality of life in a foreign country made Tengku never give up in facing challenges. His high enthusiasm for learning produced positive results.
" Alhamdulillah, with Allah's help, I was able to pass the test because to study to become a welder here, you have to pass English, science and math tests first. It's called the Entrance Exam, " wrote Tengku Firmansyah.
