The preliminary investigation has led into some new evidences.

Police is still investigating the suicide bomb attack that happened inKampungMelayu, East Jakarta on Wednesday that killed three police officers.

Here are several things we know so far about the bombing.

1. Two explosions happened that night
According to witnesses, two explosionsoccurredat the scene. The first explosion was heard at 9 p.m., and five minutes later or around 9.05 p.m., came the second one. Human body parts of alleged suspects then were found shattered around the location after the incidents.

2. The identity of the police officers
The blast killed three police officers:RidhoSetiawan, ImamGilangAdinantaand Taufan Tsunami. Around 10 people, including five other police officers andcivilianswere also injured. They were rushed to Jatinegara Premier,Herminaand Police Hospitals.

3. The terrorist used the pressure cooker bombs
National Police spokespersonInsp. Gen.SetyoWasistostated, according to the crime scene investigation, the explosions were caused by pressure cooker bombsan improvised device created by inserting explosive material, nails, and buckshot into a pressure cookercarried in thebackpackof the alleged suspects.

The police also discovered a store bill indicating a purchase of cooking pans in a pocket of one of the alleged suspects.

4. The bombs were low explosive
The preliminary investigation have determined that the bombs were low explosives. National Police spokesman Sr.Commr.MartinusSitompulsaid the distance between the bombs was about 10 to 12 meters.

5. Wrongsuspect
The police once had suspected VickyKurniyantoas the suicide bomber after they found an ID card on behalf of his name near the location of the attack. The police went to the address written on the ID card only to find Vicky wasasleepin his room.

6. Notebook containing address and codes
The police also found a small notebook near the scene of the attack. Police then found addresses and codes written inside the book.

7. ISIS involvement
MartinusSitompulsaid the police suspected militants aligned with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) were behind the attack. According to him, the suspicion was based on a series of attacks that happened in other countries such as England andPhillippines.
