Brilio.net/en - More than a century after the RMS Titanic sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean, a fully-functioning replica of the Titanic will be launched in 2018 - two years later than initially planned.
The restructured version of Titanic, called Titanic II, is planned by Blue Star Line, a company owned by Australian billionaire Clive Palmer.
The replica of this ship will have an eerie resemblance to the 1912 Titanic, yet the new Titanic will be four meters wider than the original ship. Moreover, its hull will be welded together rather than riveted to meet maritime safety requirements.
We all know that the original titanic did not have enough lifeboats to evacuate all passengers on board. But now, Blue Star Line learns from the past mistake and will carry enough lifeboats to save Jack and Rose.

According to TheBelfast Photograph, Titanic II will be 270 meters long, 53 meters high and weigh 40,000 tonnes.
It features nine floors and 840 cabins which can accommodate 2,400 passengers and 900 crew members. Furthermore, the ship will provide modern amenities for its passengers such as a swimming pool, Turkish baths and fitness center.

The new ship will also offer first, second and third class tickets.

"The new Titanic will of course have modern evacuation procedures, satellite controls, digital navigation and radar systems and all those things you'd expect on a 21st century ship," said James McDonald, the marketing director of Blue Star Line.
Unlike the original Titanic, which sailed from Southampton to New York, the maiden voyage of the new ship will be from Jiangsu in Eastern China to Dubai.
