Brilio.net - After a long wait, Pokémon GO is finally officially available for iOS and Android users in Indonesia. Now there's no need to use an APK file or Apple ID from another country to install it.

Pokémon GO has also now been released in 15 other countries in Asia and Oceania. The news was announced on the game's official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

“Trainers in 15 new countries & regions in Asia and Oceania can download Pokemon GO from the Play Store or App Store!” the tweet read

The 15 countries and regions in Asia and Oceania that can now download the game are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Palau.

Two hours after the news was announced, the Pokémon GO Facebook post got more than 19,000 responses, 13,000 shares and 2,400 comments while their post on twitter was retweeted 3,300 times and liked 4,800 times.

“Thank you Niantic for bringing Pokemon Go in Asia. Finally, the wait has been over (sic)” Steven Zhong commented.

Some people, though, are still waiting. 

“Thank you Niantic for releasing it.. but India is still waiting for its chance to get out and play. Hope you release it here soon..! #Pokemongoindia,” Sujay Bethan commented.
