People love filing lawsuit so much, a written statement of apology would no longer be enough.

The committee of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle's wing organization, East Java chapter of Democratic Struggle Volunteers (Repdem), reported Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) Deputy Chairman Arief Poyuono to East Java Police.
East Java Repdem reported Arief for alleged insult through electronic media as intended in Article 156 of the Criminal Code and Article 45A of the ITE Law.
In his statement in a number of media, Arief said it is fair to associate PDI-P with Indonesian Communist Party (PKI).
On Monday, Arief had apologized to the Chairman of PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri and the whole cadres in a stamped written statement and East Java Repdem Chairman, Abdi Edison said they have forgiven Arief.
"But, we're taking a legal course since it already concerns the name of the party institution," he said.
Arief's statement, as he mentioned, was not worth saying considering his position as a party figure. "Moreover, his statement was unfounded. The ideology of PDI-P is Pancasila," he said.
A similar report on Tuesday was also submitted to Jakarta Police by Jakarta Repdem and it was instructed to all board members to take the same action.
