Jakarta non-active Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama has been moved to the Mobile Brigade Command headquarters detention center (Mako Brimob) Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java, this morning.

"That's right, he's been moved. The process started at 10.00 p.m. but hecame out of the Cipinang prison] this early morning," saidCipinang Prison Head Asep Sutandar.

Asep addedthat the transfer was carried out due to security reason.

Since Ahok was detained in the Cipinang prison on Tuesday afternoon, many of his supporters had been coming to the location, asking and shouting for Ahok to be released.

"The people inside were disturbed by their voice and the visitors who came for other inmates were also restrained. So we appealed to the police chief to move him [Ahok] to Mako Brimob" said Asep.

Ahok himself had left Cipinang Detention Center at 01.00 a.m. accompanied by his wife Veronica Tan and United Development Party (PPP) Chairman Djan Faridz.
