Brilio.net/en - The land of Indonesia are blessed with natural and cultural galore that are left unexplored as many of them posess a uniqueness that couldn't be found in other places.
Tidore, a city, island, and archipelago located in eastern Indonesia popular for its historical and nautical tourism has been spreading its charm as the land of thousand cultures is preparing to hold annual event, exhibiting the natural beauty and culture of North Maluku, the 2017 Tidore Festival.
The event will be held on April 10 and 11, 2017. Carrying the theme "Maintaining Tradition, Defining Maritime Nation Identity", the festival will also be presented to celebrate Tidore's 909th anniversary.

Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya fully supports the festival that is going to be held for its 9th time as he approved that the event would also essential for preserving the cultural historical heritage of the Sultanate of Tidore.
"We are fortunate to have the sultanate that entrusts high cultures we should preserve. This will lure tourists to visit North Maluku, the city of Tidore in particular," said Arief during the launching of 2017 Tidore Festival in Sapta Pesona Hall, Wednesday.
Currently, Tidore is being promoted for its tourist and cultural attraction. According to Arief, several things should be noted before establishing a destination.
"An applicable formula for [establishing] a destination is 3A, Attraction, Access, and Ammenity. Those three must be constructed when put into tourism destination," he added.
Among seven series of event, three have been chosen as top event, they are Parade Juanga, Perjalanan Paji, and Kirab Agung. Arief expected that those three could attract tourists to visit Tidore as a destination that has complete attractions, marine, adventure, nature, religion, and culture.
"We are from Ministry of Tourism will publicize and promote the festival. This festival should be a trending topic both nationally and internationally," he closed.
