In a video, netizen named Karen shared the process of changing the color of her white shoes to brown. Instead of using paint or special coloring materials, he actually uses kitchen ingredients , namely coffee. He boiled the coffee grounds with water in a pan until it boiled first.

So, in a follow-up video, TikTok account user @adventuregirl510 shows the results of her shoes having been cleaned and dried. Even though the results are not as dark as when soaked in coffee, the shoes appear to have changed color to a slightly browner color.
Taking a peek at the comments column, several netizens seemed dissatisfied with the results. Not a few admitted that they hoped that the result of changing the color of their shoes would be much darker.
