Brilio.net - The size of the flame on a gas stove can affect the cooking process. The bigger the flame, the faster the cooking process. However, if the flame produced is very small, the cooking process can take longer. Unfortunately, some types of stoves have low gas pressure. Even though the stove knob has been turned to the maximum point, often the flame produced is still too small.
To solve this problem, some people choose to replace the gas stove with a new one or take it to the nearest repairman. In fact, a small stove flame can actually be easily fixed by yourself. YouTube user BERBAGI DUNIA shares a trick to overcome a stove flame that is too small. In one of his videos, he explains the cause of a small stove flame , namely the gas pressure that is flowed through the regulator.
"To determine how big the flame that comes out of a gas stove is, the determinant is how big the pressure that flows from the gas stove device is," he explained, quoted by BrilioFood from YouTube BERBAGI DUNIA on Wednesday (27/11).
So, the regulator greatly affects the size of the stove flame produced. You can replace the high pressure regulator to increase the flame on the stove. This method is simpler and more practical than having to replace the gas stove.

"Rather than modifying the stove, there are materials that we can modify to produce a much larger flame, namely in the regulator section," he explained.
In the video, he claims to use a hybrid regulator. This regulator has a knob on the top that functions to regulate the gas flow. So it can make the stove flame bigger.

YouTube user BERBAGI DUNIA also showed the flames produced by two different regulators. First, he used a regular regulator, indeed the stove flame still looked small even though the knob was turned to the highest point.
Well, after that he replaced it with a regulator that has high pressure. He also emphasized to install it carefully, yes. Make sure the clamp on the stove hose is tightly attached to avoid gas leaks.

Then reinstall the regulator to the gas cylinder. Before adjusting the regulator knob, make sure there is no gas left in the hose. You can get rid of the remaining gas by leaving the stove on until the gas runs out by itself.
After that, turn on the stove first, then turn the knob to the left (adjust the pressure). After you hear the sound of gas (the fire is not yet lit), turn off the stove. Then turn the gas stove back on. The resulting fire will be bigger.
