Brilio.net - A clean house can make its occupants feel comfortable and is also good for health. Dust and dirt in the house can spread bacteria and viruses, which have the potential to cause disease.

Dust and dirt often stick to the floor of the house, so cleaning the floor regularly is very important. In addition to being swept, the floor also needs to be mopped every week to keep it free from dust.

However, mopping the floor is sometimes not enough to make it completely clean, especially if the floor is slippery and sticky due to oil stains or spilled food. Spilled oil stains often leave marks even after being cleaned.

A YouTube user named Arista Milka Nasrul once complained about this problem in one of her videos. She mentioned that oily floors that have been mopped many times can still be sticky and even leave a fishy smell.

To overcome this, Arista admitted to using a special trick when mopping the floor. Instead of using floor cleaner or disinfectant, she chose to use kitchen ingredients. As reported by BrilioFood on Tuesday (11/19), the kitchen ingredients are vinegar and dish soap.

But before you are ready to mop, make sure the floor has been swept first. If there are stains that have become thick, you can scrape them off with a knife. After that, sweep the floor again until it is clean and dust-free.

If so, prepare a bucket and pour enough warm water. After that, add enough dish soap and vinegar. Dish soap will remove grease stains that make the floor slippery. While vinegar helps neutralize bad odors on the floor.

Next, insert the mop. Make sure the mop is clean. After that, wring out the mop and use it to wipe the oily floor. You can mop the floor as usual until it is clean.

After mopping, immediately wipe with a dry cloth so that the results are even more dry. If so, let the floor dry. Well, the floor that has been mopped is cleaner and drier, you know. This method is very suitable to be practiced for mopping kitchen floors that are often exposed to oil spills. Guaranteed to be dry and odorless.

"If you use vinegar, it will also be dry and clean immediately. And the dryness will last for 1-2 days," said YouTuber Arista Milka Nasrul.
