Brilio.net - The stove stand is one part of the kitchen that is often overlooked in the cleaning process. Even though its role is very vital in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen.
Due to daily cooking activities, the stovetop easily becomes crusty and oily. Leftover food, oil spills, and sauce splashes that are not immediately cleaned will accumulate and harden, making the stovetop look dirty and unhygienic.
If left too long, these crusts and oils are not only difficult to clean but can also affect the performance of the stove and interfere with the comfort of cooking. Crusts and oils that accumulate on the stovetop can be a source of health problems.
Dirty trays can be a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and germs. In addition, oil that settles can also cause unpleasant odors in the kitchen and increase the risk of fire. Therefore, maintaining the cleanliness of the stove tray is very important to do regularly.
If the crust and oil have accumulated, it takes a special trick to clean the stovetop. Usually some people will soak the stovetop in soapy water for hours. In some cases, the stovetop is even soaked overnight so that the crust is soft and easy to brush.
But instead of soaking it overnight, you can use a trick shared by TikTok user @tari_cici. Through one of the videos she uploaded, she admitted that it only took a few minutes to soften the crust and oil that stuck to the stovetop. But for that to happen, the stovetop needs to be soaked with some special ingredients.
As reported by BrilioFood from TikTok @tari_cici on Thursday (10/17), the special ingredients in question are dishwashing soap, table vinegar, and baking soda. These three ingredients will later be mixed and dissolved with hot water. Well, hot water will also help soften the crust and maximize the cleaning effect of the three ingredients.

Then for a clearer way to use it, place the stove stand in a baksom or large container. Then pour enough dish soap, vinegar, and baking soda. If so, pour boiling hot water into the basin and let the stove stand soak.
For best results, soak the stovetop for a few minutes first. If necessary, you can soak it until the soaking water cools down. The longer it is soaked, the easier it will be to clean all the dirt and crust later.

Now, if it has been soaked, take the stove stand and scrub it using an old toothbrush. Do this until there are no crust and oil stains left. If necessary, you can scrub it using a wire brush for maximum results.

The final step, rinse the stove stand under running water. Then dry it by airing it or wiping it with a cloth. Now, when it's dry, the stove stand is ready to be reinstalled on the stove body. How? Easy enough and faster, right?
