Brilio.net - A dispenser is a piece of equipment used to produce hot and cold water. Because it functions to store clean water, this tool must be cleaned regularly to avoid dirt and bacterial contamination. So, to clean it, some people choose to dismantle the dispenser so that the cleaning process can be maximized.

After the dispenser is dismantled, then clean the inside with a brush and rag. That way, the dispenser can be clean again and the water will be more hygienic. However, this method is considered quite complicated because after washing, the dispenser must be dried in the sun until it is completely dry. But don't worry, for those of you who don't want the hassle, you can still try other tricks, you know.

This trick was demonstrated by a netizen via the Instagram account @mommy.etha. In one of his uploads, he admitted that he cleaned the dispenser at home without having to bother dismantling all the parts of the dispenser. He also only relies on kitchen ingredients that are easily available.

How to maintain the cleanliness of the dispenser.

Maintaining the cleanliness of the water dispenser is important to prevent bacterial growth and maintain the quality of the water you drink. Here are some simple steps to maintain the cleanliness of your water dispenser:

1. Clean regularly.

Use warm water and mild soap to clean the outside of the water dispenser regularly. Wipe with a clean cloth or sponge that does not leave lint.

2. Clean the inside.

Turn off the dispenser and empty the remaining water inside. Then, use a mixture of warm water and vinegar to clean the inside of the dispenser. Make sure to brush the inside with a clean sponge.

3. Change the gallon regularly.

Change the gallon of water regularly, ideally every 1-2 weeks depending on usage. Old gallons can become a nest for bacteria if they are not replaced with new ones.

4. Keep the surrounding area clean.

Make sure the area around the dispenser is also clean. Avoid storing other items around the dispenser that could cause dirt or block access to the dispenser.

5. Check the condition of the hoses and fittings.

Make sure the hose and fittings on the dispenser are not leaking or damaged. Repair or replace as necessary to prevent water leaks that can cause moisture and mold growth.

6. Use clean water.

Use clean, safe water to refill the dispenser. Avoid using polluted or unclean water.
