Brilio.net - Mosquitoes are often the main enemy at home, especially in tropical areas. Many people use chemical drugs as a quick solution to repel mosquitoes. Sprays, lotions, and electronic mosquito repellents are often the main choices. However, behind its effectiveness, the use of these chemicals is not free from the negative impacts that lurk.
The use of chemical-based mosquito repellents can cause various health problems. Chemicals such as DEET, which are often found in mosquito repellent products, can irritate the skin and eyes. In addition, long-term exposure to these chemicals can trigger serious health problems, such as nervous and respiratory disorders. Worse still, chemical residues from mosquito repellents can pollute the air and the environment around us.
Then to prevent this problem, you can make your own mosquito repellent at home. Homemade mosquito repellent certainly comes from natural ingredients that are no less effective in repelling mosquitoes at home. This natural ingredient was once used by the owner of the Instagram account @kubra.motherhood1.
Through one of the videos uploaded, he admitted to only relying on two kitchen ingredients. Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @kubra.motherhood1 on Friday (11/22), the kitchen ingredients in question are ground coffee and cloves. Well, these two ingredients will later be wrapped in kitchen tissue.
How to use it is quite easy, take a piece of kitchen tissue first. After that, put in the ground coffee and form it lengthwise. If so, add some cloves on top.
Next, fold and roll the kitchen towel a little. Leave a little empty part behind it. Then pour the toothpaste behind the coffee and clove rolls. Then roll the tissue again until the ends stick to the toothpaste.
Once done, twist the kitchen towel and bend it again until it is round. Then place it on a heat-resistant plate. Now, burn the end of the kitchen towel so that the aroma of the ingredients inside can waft out and this is what makes mosquitoes reluctant to come. You can put this mosquito repellent inside the house or in front of the door to repel mosquitoes.
"This will keep mosquitoes away," said Instagram @kubra.motherhood1.
