Brilio.net - The stove is one of the household appliances that is often used for cooking. Because it is related to fire, it is important to ensure its safe use, including paying attention to the condition of the gas cylinder.
A common problem is a leak in the gas cylinder . Gas leaks can be harmful to health if inhaled and can cause a fire.
There are several ways to prevent gas leaks, such as choosing a quality gas cylinder equipped with a tight rubber seal.
As shown by YouTube user Fabian Channel, in his video he explains the characteristics of a gas cylinder that has the potential to leak when the regulator is installed.
"Don't buy one with loose rubber like this, because it will definitely leak when installed," he said, quoted by BrilioFood from YouTube Fabian Channel on Wednesday (4/12).

But if the gas has already leaked, he also gave a trick to overcome it. Instead of patching the gas mouth with soap or replacing the rubber, this netizen only inserted a simple tool, namely a rubber band into the gas mouth.
To get the right size, first remove the gas rubber. Then measure the size with a rubber band.

Once done, cut the rubber band. Then slowly insert it into the gas hole.
"We put it in like this and then we tidy it up like this," he explained further.

Once the rubber band is in, reinstall the gas rubber. Press the gas rubber again with the skewer.
"That way, the gas rubber will be denser and won't leak when the regulator is installed later," he said.

When the gas cylinder is installed in the regulator, there is no longer a hissing sound or smell of gas coming out.
"So the leak is gone, it doesn't hiss anymore," he explained.
