Brilio.net - Alfiansyah Komeng , the legendary comedian known for his witty and mischievous humor, is now serving as a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period after being elected in the 2024 General Election. In the meeting, Komeng also expressed his views on the importance of DPD involvement in the formulation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) in their respective electoral districts. He emphasized that the DPD has an active and constructive role in budget preparation, so that it can provide real benefits to the community.
"If it can be added, every time someone designs the APBD, the DPD for their electoral district should be there and participate in designing it," said Adul's colleague.

Komeng's attitude of wanting to change the negative view of the DPD is also reflected in his statement. Komeng hopes that with real performance, the DPD can erase the negative stigma attached to the institution.
