The 50-year-old actor began his career in the entertainment industry after participating in the Abang None Jakarta event in 1992. The actor revealed that his life was once full of sins and actions that were far from good values. While pursuing his career in the entertainment world, he was trapped in bad habits that eventually ruined his life. Reynold admitted that drugs were one of his biggest problems at that time.
"I committed many crimes, did many activities that hurt God. When I was acting in films, acting in soap operas, until a few years ago behind that I committed crimes that hurt God's heart. And many crimes that I committed included narcotics," said Reynold with full regret, quoted by brilio.net from YouTube Journey of Aberu on Tuesday (31/12).
His journey in the world of drugs is not just an ordinary story. He even called himself a heavy drug user who found it difficult to get out of that circle. Reynold emphasized that the bad habit was his own choice, not just the influence of the surrounding environment.

"I used to be, brothers and sisters, a heavy drug addict. I'm not proud of it, but I'm proud that God saved me. So for years I was involved in that world, because people couldn't say that I was a drug addict because of my friends, that was my own choice," he continued.
The decision to migrate was a major turning point for Reynold. He stated that this change was inseparable from God's intervention that guided him out of dark times. Reynold also shared that he always prayed to be a better person and carry out God's will in his life.
"I bow down, (pray) God, make me your vessel, God. Change me according to your will, and let me carry out your will, God. And God gave it all to me. Not because of my strength, but all because of God's strength. And I believe that we are God's chosen people," he said gratefully.

Today, Reynold is focused on serving God and distancing himself from the negative things that once destroyed his youth. His life changes have not only become valuable lessons for himself, but also provide inspiration for people who are struggling with similar problems.
