Sopyan died at the age of 51 years. The deceased started his career in the world of acting when he was at school. He joined the Theater Studio at SMA Negeri 35 Jakarta when he was in the 3rd grade of junior high school. Throughout his career, Sopyan has starred in various soap operas and films.
