However, Ciccio Manassero firmly denied the rumors, insisting that they were just friends. He admitted that he was surprised by the gossip that they were in a romantic relationship.
"Marsha and I were shocked by the rumors that we were dating," said Ciccio when met at XXI Epicentrum Walk, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Friday (7/2).
He explained that a visit to the hospital was a normal form of concern from a friend.
"We've been friends since we were little, and when we found out he was sick, we visited him," Ciccio added in a relaxed tone.
For Ciccio, Marsha Aruan is more than just a friend; they have a strong bond after acting together in the film 'Breakout' in 2019, which further strengthened their friendship.
Although many are curious about their closeness, Ciccio insists that their relationship is nothing more than just friends who care about each other.
"We've been friends since we were little, we've been filming and working out together, and we don't know what the future holds," said the 29-year-old.
