He also continued his education at SMKI (Indonesian Karawitan Middle School) majoring in musical. Soimah's vocal abilities are the reason she often wins arts competitions such as 1st place in the Dangdut Karaoke Star singing competition in Central Java-DIY, 1st place in Television Star and also Dara Ayu Champion.

Soimah's career took off after joining the Jogja Hip Hop Foundation. In fact, he took part in his first world tour with the arts community which was held on May 14 2011. Apart from singing, he is also good at comedy.
Not surprisingly, Soimah created her own program entitled Show Imah which made her name increasingly popular. Many variety shows also involve him, either as a comedian or on the jury.
