Brilio.net - The South Sulawesi Police have named skincare boss Mira Hayati as a suspect in the ownership of illegal cosmetic products. In addition to Mira Hayati (MH), the other two suspects are Mustadir DG Sila (MS), owner of the Fenny Frans product, and Agus Salim (AS), owner of Raja Glow. The three were found to have violated laws and regulations relating to consumer protection and health.
"The three suspects who have been named in this case are MH, MS, and AS," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Senior Commissioner Didik Supratono, quoted from the @portalsulsel upload.
The suspect determination follows the results of the Makassar BBPOM laboratory test on 67 cosmetic product items. The test results showed that the products contained hazardous materials, such as mercury, and did not comply with applicable regulations.
A number of products indicated to contain hazardous substances include Fenny Frans Day Cream Glowing and Fenny Frans Night Cream Glowing. In addition, Raja Glow My Body Slim, Mira Hayati Lightening Skin, and Mira Hayati Cosmetic Night Cream are also included in the list of hazardous findings.

Mercury is a highly toxic and dangerous metal for health. Its effects can cause skin cancer, skin discoloration, red rashes, and make the skin peel easily. In some cases, the use of mercury can also cause permanent scarring.
Based on the investigation conducted by the Subdit I Indag Ditreskrimsus Polda Sulsel team, a number of facts were found that pointed to serious violations. These facts indicate that the suspects have harmed consumers through the distribution of dangerous products.
The results of these lab tests further strengthen the evidence that these products contain hazardous chemicals. The content of these substances has the potential to harm the health of users in the long term.
A portrait of Mira with the other two suspects while wearing orange prison uniforms went viral on social media. The moment showed them signing a detention agreement. Mira's appearance also looked very contrasting when she

Mira Hayati's appearance also looks very contrasting compared to before. Her appearance that used to be like a walking gold shop, has now changed drastically along with her determination as a suspect in the illegal cosmetics distribution case.
However, the detention process did not go smoothly. According to Senior Commissioner Didik Supratono, Mira and Agus stated that they were sick. This condition forced them to undergo a temporary detention suspension or postponement.
Mira Hayati underwent rehabilitation and is currently being treated at the Permata Hati Mother and Child Hospital in Makassar. Meanwhile, Agus Salim, the owner of the Raja Glow cosmetic product, also underwent rehabilitation at the Ibnu Sina Hospital in Makassar due to complaints of shortness of breath and chest pain.
This suspension of detention is regulated in the Circular of the Supreme Court Number 1 of 1989. This process can only be carried out with the permission of the institution that has the authority to detain.

This case actually emerged in September 2024. At that time, the three suspects had been named as perpetrators of the distribution of dangerous cosmetics.
However, until the end of the year, they were still free to roam. In fact, they continued to market their products on social media while showing off their luxurious lifestyle. The arrest was finally made after the case file was declared complete (P21) by the Makassar District Attorney's Office.
