Actor Glenn Alinskie recently underwent Turbinate Reduction surgery after being diagnosed with Turbinate Hypertrophy at RSPI Puri Indah Jakarta. Turbinate Hypertrophy is a condition in which the turbinates, which are the indentations inside the nose, become too large and block airflow.

According to the Great Dictionary of the Indonesian Language, the function of the turbinates is to humidify, warm, and filter the air entering the body. Glenn expressed his gratitude to the team of doctors through his Instagram account, calling them an extension of God's hand during his surgery.

"I have been living with Turbinate Hypertrophy. The nasal turbinates are long, narrow tubes that help warm and humidify the air flowing through the nose," Glenn wrote in English.

After undergoing surgery, Glenn explained that his blocked nose condition made it difficult for him to breathe, often experienced a dry mouth when waking up, and snored. "The dry mouth when waking up happened because I slept with my mouth open, unable to breathe through my nose. Pressure on my forehead and prolonged nasal congestion were the symptoms I experienced," he said.

The surgery he underwent was a minimally invasive procedure using a laser, which aims to effectively address Turbinate Hypertrophy. Now, Glenn feels much better and feels fresh air flowing freely through his nose. His wife, Chelsea Olivia , also confirmed that her husband no longer snores while sleeping.

"And for the first time, last night, @chelseaoliviaa said I don't snore in my sleep," Glenn wrote, expressing his gratitude to the Creator for the smooth operation.
