Brilio.net - Some time ago, there was a commotion when Ridwan Kamil and Atalia Praratya's second child, Camillia Laetitia Azzahra decided to take off her hijab. The girl who is familiarly called Zara conveyed this decision herself via her Instagram account. Zara admitted that the decision was taken after much consideration and discussion with her family.
Many questioned why Ridwan Kamil and his wife allowed the decision. As a mother, Atalia Praratya finally spoke up in a podcast with Najla Bisyir. She said that her child was initially able to survive the onslaught of her environment who took off the hijab.

"This is actually it. Her friends first. Then her friends took turns, taking off her hijab. She kept persisting," said Atalia as reported by brilio.net from Najla Bisyir's YouTube channel on Monday (19/8).
Until finally, Zara clearly expressed her desire to remove the hijab. Hearing this, Atalia and her husband certainly did not agree. They tried to persuade Zara in the midst of her turmoil.
"We didn't agree with that. I even pushed her father to accompany Zara. At that time, she was upset. She was upset for sure. But it didn't work either," said Atalia.

Atalia admitted that when the decision was taken and uploaded on social media, she was more worried about her child's mental health. Because, previously Zara had experienced extraordinary trauma.
"Zara's mentality. Because she had experienced extraordinary trauma. She was hit again by something like this. I imagine she might have fallen down the stairs, plunged again," he said.
Atalia admitted that she had actually taught her child about religion. However, for her, what was important was the child's happiness. Moreover, she admitted that she loved the girl so much.
"With all the uniqueness as a teenager. We were also in turmoil. I cried too," said Atalia.
Atalia admitted that she had tried her best to advise her child. In addition, she had also given the best education for Zara. But unfortunately, for her, children also have their own decisions in living their lives.
"I feel like I'm already full. I've given my best. Advising him, giving him the best education, advising him on all sorts of things. I'm really full," he said.

"As a parent, I have the authority, that's it. To put pressure, direct, regulate (children). It turns out it's not like that. Parenting knowledge cannot be the same. It cannot be applied to everyone," he concluded.
Previously, Zara decided to take off her veil . It was posted via her Instagram account and garnered public attention. Not a few regretted the decision via the comments column of her upload.
