Brilio.net - The figure of Kabul Basuki or better known by his stage name Tessy is deeply embedded in the memories of the Srimulat audience. She has a strong character in every appearance with a woman's style complete with lots of carnelian rings on her fingers.

However, since the ban on men dressing like women on television, this 81 year old comedian's face has begun to be rarely seen. He was reprimanded and banned by the KPI for dressing up like a woman. This condition turned out to have quite a big influence on Tessy's career in the world of entertainment. He expressed this when he appeared as a guest star on Maia Estianty's YouTube channel.

"Wow, it really doesn't go down any more (affecting income). Now I'm in this with one of them, I'm talking about KPI basically. I'm prohibited from wearing women's clothes. Then my life at that time was like on TV, in films and so on. That's "No one wants to wear me because I wear women's clothes," said Tessy, quoted by brilio.net from YouTube Maia Al El Dul TV, Thursday (30/8).

Tessy said that since this regulation was implemented, finances have been shaky. Frankly, this man who was a member of the Indonesian Navy's KKO revealed that for 6 years he had lived without a job.

"That's 6 years of not getting a job because of a woman's clothes, (even though) she was originally a girl," joked Tessy.

Because there was no work, his life changed drastically. Tessy said that she was forced to sell the assets she owned, from four-wheeled vehicles to houses. All of this is done to survive.

"The house was sold, the car was sold, and there was no income at all (after) being banned by KPI," said Tessy.

As previously reported, the KPI regulations made Tessy feel stressed and frustrated. He also admitted that he had fallen into illegal drugs.

"Because after the incident I was stressed, frustrated and so on, I had the wrong company," said Tessy, quoted from YouTube Trans 7 Official.

After no longer appearing on the screen, Tessy racked her brains to be able to earn money. One of the activities he is currently involved in is being active on YouTube. Tessy created a YouTube channel called T&N with Nunung .
