This certainly raises questions, considering that Jennifer is Muslim. Likewise with Dali Wassink who converted to Islam since marrying Jennifer Coppen.

This mother of one child also explained the reasons for not holding a tahlil to pray for her late husband at home. He admitted that there were not many Muslim family members in his house. Besides, it was too far to take the orphans home.

"For those of you who ask why you don't have tahlilan at home... I'm sorry everyone, because there aren't many Muslims in our family and it's far from the orphanage to my house, in the end I decided to just do it there," explained Jennifer Coppen.

Representing the family, Jennifer Coppen hopes that the public can respect her decision. Also regarding the decision to cremate Dali Wasink's body and scatter his ashes at sea. She advised netizens to let it go while praying for her husband to be at peace in nature.

"So please just respect Papa Dali's decision. Now Papa Dali is calm, Papa Dali is not sick, Papa Dali, don't worry," said Jennifer Coppen during the ashes-throwing ceremony.
