Brilio.net - The proposal event for Tariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid which took place on Sunday (23/6) became the public spotlight. This is related to the statement by Atta Halilintar's mother, Geni Faruk, who said that her son, Tariq, had already made the Hajj when he was only 2 months old.

This statement was expressed by Geni when the presenter mentioned the name Atta Halilintar in his welcoming speech without the title of Hajj. The presenter was immediately corrected by Atta's father, Halilintar Anofial Asmid, to add the title Hajj in front of his son's name.

"Because we mentioned the Hajj, I remembered that Thoriq was also a Hajj. So, when he was two months old, he went on the Hajj with us. So when he finished postpartum he immediately went on the Hajj," said Geni at the moment of Thoriq and Aaliyah's proposal, which immediately went viral on social media.

"But Mi's Hajj hasn't been counted yet," said Atta.

"Yes, but it's already Hajj Tariq," added Geni.

This has also drawn pros and cons from netizens. Not wanting to muddy the waters with his mother's statement which went viral on social media , Atta provided an explanation. According to him, it was just a joke from the mother who wanted to make her son proud when he went on Hajj in the 2000s.

"Oh, maybe my mother is joking. Yes, that's okay, it's called mothers, maybe I want to explain the story first, I'm happy like that," said Atta Halilintar as reported by Kapanlagi.com, Wednesday (26/6).

Atta mentioned the pilgrimage that Lenggogeni Faruk carried out while carrying Tariq Halilintar when he was still a baby as a form of pride for his parents. Moreover, the pilgrimage journey in the past was full of challenges, not just material and energy.

"Because my mother used to have good packages for Hajj before it was like now. This used to be an extraordinary struggle, right? In the past, there weren't any visas like now," said Atta.

Therefore, Aurel Hermansyah's husband understands that his mother is very proud of the achievement of being able to bring one of her children to participate in the Hajj.

"Maybe because he likes carrying babies, Tariq was in the 90s, after that Mom also struggled not only in terms of material things, but in terms of money and energy, in the past the Hajj wasn't like it is now," concluded Atta.
