Brilio.net - Mat Solar , an actor widely known for his role as Bajuri in the popular soap opera 'Bajaj Bajuri', is currently in the process of recovering after suffering a stroke in 2017. His son, Haidar Rasyad or familiarly called Popon, recently gave an update on his father's health condition who is still battling various complications due to the stroke.
"In my opinion, the progress is the same as if it were still like that. It's just that I'm already old, so it's difficult to talk," said Popon, quoted by brilio.net from KapanLagi on Tuesday (17/9).
After 7 years of stroke , Mat Solar's condition has not shown significant development, especially in terms of speaking ability. Nevertheless, the family continues to try to provide the best support and care for Mat Solar.

Recovering from a stroke takes time and patience. Popon said he encourages and comforts his father every day so that his condition improves.
"Every day I like to cheer up dad like dad, come on, let's say AIUEO, dad, like just A U. It's just difficult to comfort him, like holding his hand, come on, come on, like that," he continued.
In addition to his condition of not being able to speak, Popo revealed that Mat Solar also has impaired vision. Currently, his father's vision is reduced so that his eyes cannot see clearly. While his hearing is still quite good.

"His vision is a bit blurry, yes. Yes, it seems a bit disturbed, but hearing problems are fine. When it comes to talking, it's still like that," he said.
In daily life, Mat Solar still routinely undergoes treatment. Starting from physiotherapy to walking therapy continues. Likewise, the consumption of his medicine is still ongoing.
"Physiotherapy is still ongoing, sometimes once a month. Consumption of medication is also ongoing, but my mother knows best about the medication," said Popon.
Currently, Mat Solar is still under the supervision of doctors. They are not interested in trying alternative medicine. Now, the comedian is resting more at home with a special mattress.

Popon said his family even bought a hospital bed to make it easier to care for his father. The reason is, hospital beds are more flexible.
"No, just lie down on the bed. Buy a hospital mattress so it's easy. For example, if dad wants to eat, he'll raise it like that," said Popon.
Popon said the expenses for caring for his father were quite large. Moreover, to ensure his father received the best care.
However, Popom admitted that it was no problem, he was willing to do it so that his beloved parents could be healthy.

"Yes, you can say that there are a lot of things, of course you have to look after your father until he recovers, yes it will definitely be expensive. Whatever it is that makes your father healthy, it will definitely be, God willing," he explained.
Mat Solar recently underwent a medical procedure at the Friendship Hospital to address his urination issues. After the procedure was completed, he was allowed to go home directly, indicating that the procedure went smoothly and did not require hospitalization.
Although the main treatment is done at home, Popon emphasized that his father still routinely receives check-ups and treatment from the hospital. Mat Solar's son remains optimistic about his father's health progress, although he realizes that the post-stroke recovery process requires a long time and high patience.
