Gal Gadot got the role of Wonder Woman and really stole the show during the movie.

Brilio.net/en - If you have watched the latest superhero movie Batman V Superman, you might notice the appearance of woman superhero that had been absent for more than 20 years. The last TV series about the Amazonian woman in the famously red, blue and golden costume carrying a whip starred Lynda Carter ended in 1979. Wonder Woman was never seen or mentioned anywhere on the screen ever since. Until 2016.
Gal Gadot got the role and really stole the show during the movie. But who is Gal Gadot anyway? You might want to know more about her and heres some fact we got about her:
1. She became Miss Israel at the age of 19 and passed on to the Miss Universe 2004 to represent her country. She made it to Quito, Ecuador, for the world pageant stage, but didnt manage to get into the top 15.

2. She was in the military for 2 years as part of the Israeli Defense Force. She is very proud of it and said that military training has given her a wide knowledge of weapons and had aided her to land the role in Fast and Furious series as Gisele Harabo.

3. In 2012 she was ranked number 5 in the top 50 most intelligent, talented, funny and beautiful Jewish women in the world, according to Shalom Life.

4. She is currently the second highest paid Israeli model in the world. The first highest goes to supermodel Bar Refaeli.

5. Gisele Harabo was her first big screen role, as she will play again in the upcoming seventh movie of the series after the previous two in which she garnered much praise.

6. Justin Lin, the director of Fast and Furious series, had Gadot do her own stunts. She did it happily and marvelously, thanks to the military training she had before. This puts her on the list of few Hollywood female actresses that do their own stunts.

7. Gadot is married to her longtime boyfriend Yaron Varsano in 2008 and gave birth to her first daughter Alma in 2011. Too bad shes off the market, guys!

8. Gadot and Varsano own a hotel in Tel Aviv. The hotel is located at one of the citys most well known neighborhoods Neve Tzedek.
