Brilio.net - A textured face due to pimples and large pores often makes makeup results look less smooth. When the skin is uneven, foundation and powder have difficulty sticking perfectly, so the appearance of the face can appear rough or uneven. In addition, areas that experience pimples tend to absorb products unevenly, causing makeup to easily clump or appear piled up.
Pimples themselves usually appear due to pores clogged by oil, dirt, or dead skin cells. When makeup is applied, these clogged pores can be even more visible, especially when using powder-based products that can actually highlight skin texture. As a result, instead of getting a flawless look, makeup looks cakey or highlights imperfections on the face.
In addition to acne, large pores are also one of the main causes of makeup looking less smooth. When the pores are wide open, complexion products such as foundation and concealer tend to get into them, creating a spotty effect that interferes with the appearance of the face. This condition can be further exacerbated if excess oil production causes makeup to fade or shift more quickly, making it difficult to get long-lasting makeup results that blend with the skin.
However, this facial texture can actually be overcome with the right makeup technique. There is a trick that can be applied to make makeup smoother on a textured face due to pimples and large pores. An Instagram user @nadiranisr once revealed it directly through one of the uploaded videos.
According to her, the most important step to overcome this problem is in skin prep. Not only using primer or moisturizer, she admitted that there are other skincare products that are more important to help disguise facial texture. Reported by briliobeauty.net from Instagram @nadiranisr on Thursday (3/13), the skincare in question is toner.
Well, applying this toner must also be considered so that the results are maximized. First, compress the face with toner. The method is, take a cotton pad and pour it with toner until wet. After that, stick the cotton pad to the textured area of the face. Then let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
"You can use any toner, as long as the texture is liquid and can hydrate, because textured skin is due to lack of hydration," said Instagram user @nadiranisr.
Once compressed, continue massaging the face gently until the toner is completely absorbed. Then, lock in the hydration with a moisturizer. That way, the texture of the skin will be more disguised when applying makeup.

The next step, you can directly apply the primer, which is then continued with matte foundation and loose powder so that the texture is increasingly disguised. If you want a smoother makeup result, set it again with a little compact powder. That way, the makeup result will not only be smooth, but also neater.
