Both products went viral because of their claims that they are suitable for oily skin and their durability is up to 24 hours. Well, to prove her claim, a TikToker with the account name @dessydyl, conducted a battle review of the two liquid foundations. Do you think it's really worth the price?
At the beginning of the video, the account owner known as Dessy revealed that both foundations have a matte finish. Although matte, both have a light texture and are easy to blend.
Furthermore, Dessy did a wear test of both foundations to prove her claim. She applied Dior foundation on the left side of her face, and YSL on the right side of her face. According to her, Dior has medium-to-full coverage. As for YSL foundation, Dessy said that the product has better coverage than Dior.

"It's as easy as blending, it's like blurring pores, acne, and the skin color is immediately even," said Dessy, as quoted by briliobeauty.net , Thursday (22/8).
Not only that, while using the two foundation products, Dessy no longer needs to add concealer. Because, both foundations already have very good coverage to make the skin look even and smooth.
After smoothing the foundation, Dessy let her face sit for 15 minutes. As a result, the part of her face where the Dior foundation was applied looked a bit glowing, while the YSL really set and didn't transfer at all when touched with fingers.

Furthermore, Dessy finished her makeup with full makeup. After wearing it for 1 hour, the part of her face that used YSL, her skin looked matte. Not only that, her pores were also more disguised compared to the part of her face that used Dior.
Then, after being used for more than 5 hours, Dessy's face looked very oily. However, her complexion still stayed and did not fade at all.

"My skin is already super-duper oily, especially in the areas that use Dior foundation. However, when I look in the mirror at the Dior foundation, it's already super-duper oxidized. Meanwhile, in the areas that use YSL foundation, it's less oily and the color doesn't oxidize either," explained Dessy.
