After months of delay and tons of issue, the long-awaited new series "Star Trek: Discovery" has finally set its premiere date on this September. Alas, nobody will get all the 15 episodes of first season this year as the CBS has announced that the sci-fi drama would air in two split chapters.

The "Star Trek: Discovery" will make its debut as well as first eight episodes run between September and November on CBS All Access streaming service, while the remaining seven will resume in January 2018.

Below is the series's latest teaser, showing the date and first detail of the titular ship.

The series will feature Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) as Captain Philippa Georgiou, Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) as Captain Lorca, and Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead) as First Officer Michael Burnham.
