You probably will never forget the days you stayed up late finishing all the stages of Mario in your NES or SNES. As a kid, you imagined yourself setting off on a quest in the world filled with piranha flower, toppling the turtle tribe to save your very princess. Sounds weird, eh? But at least, all those hours you spent playing Super Mario games is about to pay off. No, we're not talking about the princess and you probably won't get one either.
Universal Studios Japan, located in Osaka, is currently in the process of developing Super Nintendo World, a new land inspired by Super Mario. The studio has just released the teaser for the park on Wednesday, which is scheduled to open in 2020, coincide with the Tokyo Olympics.
Vice chairman of Universal Parks and Resorts, Mark Woodbury said that the main attraction of Super Nintendo World will be a Mario Kart attraction, considering the concept art of the attraction that features the Peach's castle.
There are only few details about this park, including itsprogress. But, one Twitter and Instagram user managed to take some pictures of the attraction when strolling down the park's parking lot. Check this out!
