TheCorruption Eradication Commission arrested seventeen civil servants and private company officials during its lateststing operation in Jakarta and Surabayayesterday.
"A total of 17 people consisting of State and Private officials," said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah. He also confirmed that the Jakarta and Surabaya operations were related to the same case.
The operation issaid to be related to a Rp 3 billion bribery in warship procurement project conducted by state ship manufacturer PT PAL Indonesia.
KPK is scheduled to hold a press conference related to the detail of the operation this afternoon.
"The status of those people is going to be be defined within 24 hours since the operation," said Febri.
