Sheila Marcia and Dimas Akira's household was once on the brink. They almost separated because of ego and busyness that took up their time together. This tension peaked when one of them said goodbye. However, after realizing that their love was still there, both of them chose to stay and fix their relationship.
"Two years ago, we almost broke up. It was all because of emotions, and in the end we realized that we loved each other and tried to get back up stronger," said Sheila when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
Dimas also admitted that being busy is the main problem in their household. "I work more outside, so there is rarely time for family. Stress from work is carried over to the house, and it makes us selfish," Dimas explained.
Things got even more complicated when Sheila had to film for three months. The increasing distance made communication more difficult, and they decided to separate temporarily.
"At that time, I was filming and we had a misunderstanding. The distance made things even more chaotic," said Sheila.
However, Sheila and Dimas finally realized that maintaining a household is not only about love, but also about trying to understand each other and accept each other's shortcomings.
"We both tried to understand each other. Everything was restored by God, and we understand each other more now," concluded Sheila.
